One of the largest national garage door manufacturers recently started distributing Silvelox garage doors. Silvelox is an Italian company on the cutting edge of custom garage door technology. There innovative Trento collection utilizes a unique design eliminating the need for horizontal tracks and and overhanging garage door opener. The door uses a weighted counterbalance system versus the standard torsion spring system used by most garage doors in the United States today. With this design the need for costly garage door repairs is brought to a minimum. 

Amarr announced at this years IDA (International Door Association) show that they will be unveiling a version of this door for the US at a much more affordable cost than the current offerings of the Italian Silvelox. The word is that sometime in 2015 the Amarr sectional overlap style garage door. This is exciting news for customers looking for a cleaner, less obtrusive, and low maintenance garage door.
